What this site collects
Short version: an anonymous visit count, nothing that identifies you.
Visit counting
We count visits with our own small, anonymous counter. There are no cookies, ads or third-party trackers. Your browser makes a random ID that changes every day, so we can count daily visitors without knowing who you are. For each page we record the address, the site that sent you (just its domain), the device type (phone, tablet or desktop), your browser language and time zone, and which buy buttons were clicked. We do not store IP addresses in our database.
Where the data lives
Visit counts and the journal catalog are stored with Supabase, our database provider, which keeps standard request logs for security. The site itself is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may log IP addresses for security too.
Fonts
The typefaces load from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google's servers to download them, which shares your IP address with Google.
Buying a journal
Purchases happen on Gumroad (digital journals) or Amazon (paperbacks). Anything you share there is covered by their privacy policies, not this site.
